THE FLASH’s Candice Patton on Barry, Eddie and Flarrow

Do you ever go over to the ‘Arrow’ set? Because it’s just next to the ‘Flash’ set I realised.

CP: We never really see other other, because we’re always working, and if we’re not we try and get home.

Are you never inclined to go over there and try the salmon ladder or pick up a bow and arrow?

CP: Not really.

I tried the salmon ladder when I was there…

CP; Wow you tried the salmon ladder? Could you even do one?

I couldn’t even do one – I was just swinging off it like a monkey bar!

CP: I don’t think I could even do one!

Maybe at some point – maybe in a multiverse, or maybe when you get your superpowers?

CP; Yeah maybe,  in my core powers.

Have (the producers) done anything about whether or not (you getting powers) might happen?

CP: No – earlier when I got the job they said no, you’ll never get superpowers, so…

But then they say lots of things-

CP: -they say LOTS of things!

Like they said that Olicity would never happen.

CP: What I’ve learned is that they lie to us a lot, so who knows?

Ha ha! So they keep the surprise for when it actually happens.

CP: Yeah

That makes sense.

The other thing that everyone is talking about is there was suppose to be a scene with you and Barry in the last episode (203) which got cut – what was that about?

CP: She was asking Barry’s advice, about whether she should see her mother or not. Oh and they’re going through their childhood photo albums. There’s photos of a young Barry and a young Iris.

Oh really? I saw the picture on Detective West’s desk with a young Barry and a young Iris…

CP: Yeah I really like that one.
